CommentsIs it safe to assume that you zoomed pretty far in? I think this piece is great, especially along the lines of contrast between the darkness and the light because it follows the concept clearly. The outline of the individual in the light shrouds the viewer in mystery because it's not a solid silhouette, but indeed just an outline. The specks of light are possibly lights from billboards on the street-side. A very intriguing and dark piece! I love the concept and the interesting focus pattern. Keep up the great work Kieth.
-- Here's a critique-guide that's very useful! Now USE IT! [link] I'd turn gay for `Vlei. Very dreamlike. I don't feel like it's blurry or grainy. I feel like it's a vision and that's just how I'm experiencing it. It's like waking up with your eyelashes crossed over each other and seeing lines and shapes and spots from sunlight but you can't quite place what everything is. Like swimming under someone and trying to open your eyes as wide as they'll go but squinting from the sun instead. It's funny how I see the sun even though it's a dark piece.
-- Lyme Disease: Do you know about it? Probably not, so read this and learn what you can do to spread the word. Are you CFS aware? As always I wish I could be there and see these fascinating prints in the flesh, so to speak.
You look like an alien from Star Wars Seriously though, it's interesting that you've come back to this one, and view it differently. Like someone else printed it last time. Intriguing -- The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do. And then I saw it was yours and it all made sense. The fact that it's grainy makes it seem more unique. -- |
